PRODUCTION PROGRAM

Rex ADDAX couplings have been developed as a result of improvements in composite and fiberglass material technologies and have become the only alternative where couplings to long distances, particularly cooling hulls and ship propulsion, are required. The endless winding system is made up of lie carbon fiber or fiberglass material formed as a pipe and flanges attached to both ends. This composite material is mounted on reducer and motor shafts with 316 stainless steel fittings.

Properties:

  • - 5 times lighter than similar steel couplings / shafts.
  • - Allows unimpeded distances of up to 8 m due to lightweight, provided that the torque requirements are adhered to.
  • Eliminates maintenance needs, especially since they do not require laying on the cooling towers.
  • - Since the thermal expansion is almost zero, it does not lengthen and shorten in warming and cooling, thus reducing the maintenance cost of the gearbox and motor bearings.
  • Carbon fiber and fiberglass materials are much stronger than steel materials as torque transfer capability.
  • - They are not affected by ultraviolet sun rays, especially because they are produced in black color.
  • - The connection brackets are made of high quality 316 stainless steel and the connection bolts are manufactured from stainless or Monel bolts, thus providing a long life.
  • - All couplings are balanced to Q9 standard. In addition, due to its lightness and other design features, it eliminates natural frequency (resonance) problems.
  • - Special flex elements between the coupling and the coupling brackets allow 1-degree coupling adjustment misalignment for each flex element.
  • - They do not require maintenance. As in geared couplings, lubrication and so on. maintenance requirements.
  • - It is used for a long time without any corrosion parts.
